Collecting Insight: Fantasy Provides Guidance on NFL Rookie Cards.

Posted by RC Team on

We say it over and over again, use fantasy drafts to find out which cards are the best to pick up before they jump. It’s simple really, fantasy football owners have basically the same interests as trading card collectors. We both want to know who is going to have a big year.

mark-ingram-rookie-cardSometimes it’s obvious, a #1 QB that’s going to get to start right away. Other times it’s more opaque, a fourth round running back that’s looking great in camp while an aging veteran falters. That’s where real money can be made. And with the collective intelligence out there devoted to the fantasy football arena, there are more than a few places to look for rookie sleepers. Today’s article at SI.com makes a lot of sense and I like that they took some chances. It’s worth a read and perhaps throwing a few bucks at some of their picks.

Here is the ranking 1-10, the full list and rationale is at the link below:

1. Mark Ingram

2. Daniel Thomas

3. Ryan Williams

4. Julio Jones

5. Roy Helu

6. A.J. Green

7. DeMarco Murray

8. Delone Carter

9. Cam Newton

10. Greg Little
