This rare Michael Myers mask has one of the most intriguing stories in film history. For John Carpenter’s 1978 classic Halloween, the production purchased a Captain Kirk mask from Star Trek modeled after William Shatner’s face. The mask was heavily modified—eyeholes widened, hair trimmed, and the skin painted ghostly white—transforming it into the iconic, chilling visage of Michael Myers. While Shatner unknowingly “provided” the face, Nick Castle brought the character to life on screen, portraying Myers’ silent, menacing body in the film. In addition to his signature, Castle inscribed “The Shape”, the name Michael Myers was written as in the end credits of the film. This collectible is a brand-new, never used adult-size and made entirely of latex, making it ideal for display or costume use.
